Our neighborhood breathes history and gastronomy. In addition to the famous Casa Forte Square, designed by Burle Max, just ahead, you will find the Joaquim Nabuco Foundation, an internationally recognized institution, with the main study center in the Northeast and the owner of a huge and diverse collection of Pernambuco's history. There, it is worth visiting the Museu do Homem do Nordeste or watching the best art cinema program in the city, at the Museum Cinema.
Poço da Panela, next to the Casa Forte square, is a bucolic residential neighborhood with pure history in its mansions and streets. It is where there is the main point of bars and restaurants to enjoy good moments, right next to Av 17 de Agosto. If you like and need to go shopping, we have Plaza Uber Casa Forte, a medium-sized shopping mall, very welcoming and with a neighborhood atmosphere, just outside Uber, without the crowds of large shopping centers. A little further up we have the historic Casa Amarela Market, a centuries-old structure of trade and fair. On Saturdays, at Praça de Casa Forte we have the Organic Fair, a pleasant environment for shopping and interacting with the best of our city, of organic products.
